Almost a century
of process control
experience

Optio Systems combines the strengths of DSL and Datastor to deliver modern control systems for complex plants.

Our story
Optio Systems was formed through the merger of DSL and Datastor, each bringing decades of experience in process control and plant data systems, with hundreds of installations across feed, industrial, and specialist manufacturing environments.

Today, Optio focuses on Imperium4 – a browser based process control platform that unifies automation, data, and day to day operations.

What we believe
Your control system should reduce firefighting, not add to it. Plants should spend less time working around fragile systems, reconciling data, and relying on tribal knowledge, and more time producing consistent product.

Integration should be normal, not special
Production, formulation, quality, maintenance, warehousing, and management should all be able to trust the same data, without repeated manual entry.

Support should be there when you need it most
When the plant is down, you should be able to speak to engineers who understand your process and your system – not wait in a generic support queue.

Optio’s support engineers have always been on hand to assist and advise with any issues, allowing continuous production at all times.

Where we work

Optio is headquartered in the UK, with a growing sales and engineering presence in North America. However, we have installed and support hundreds of systems globally, including some of the largest and most complex mills and manufacturing plants in their respective sectors, and by many smaller operations with equally high expectations.
